This hymn has a good solid melody. I read somewhere that it was a favourite amongst the American presidents. This hymn was sung at the funerals of American presidents Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson.
The surest foundation we have is the Lord Jesus and His Word. Amen.
